Steve Decker (Owner/Operator) -  a construction professional with a passion for construction design and creativity — helping to bring a customer’s building and construction visions to life makes me happy.

 

My first encounter with construction was in 1971, when I was 6 years old, helping my Dad complete the addition of two dormers on my grandmother’s small cape style home. I started by straightening old nails to be re-used for the interior framing of the construction of three bedrooms, and then on to nailing down the plywood with my sister on the floors.

 

At 15, I started my own “Odd Jobs” business, taking on painting, fence repair and home maintenance projects for the people in my local community. My passion for construction and renovations lead me to Trade School, where I earned my Carpentry Certification in 1983.

 

Working with various commercial and residential construction companies throughout New England I continued to develop and enhance my skills and expertise as a construction professional.
